A Prayer For Healing From Adultery With Bible References

Heavenly Father, I come before you seeking healing and restoration from the pain and brokenness caused by adultery. Your Word teaches us that you are a God of forgiveness, mercy, and restoration (Psalm 103:8-12).

Lord, I feel betrayed and hurt by the adultery that has taken place. I ask for your healing arms of comfort to surround me and help me come to terms with what has happened (Psalm 34:18).

I pray for the strength to forgive the one who has committed adultery against me, just as you have forgiven us of our sins. Help me to extend grace and seek reconciliation, following your example of love and forgiveness (Ephesians 4:32).

Lord, I ask for your guidance and wisdom in knowing how to move forward and save my marriage. Show me the steps to take and help me to trust in your plan for restoration (Proverbs 3:5-6).

I pray for my spouse who has committed adultery. May they see the error of their ways and turn away from this ungodly behavior. Help them to seek your forgiveness and mine, and to experience true repentance (Acts 3:19).

Father, I ask for your healing in my own heart and mind. Help me to break free from any soul ties or emotional bonds that have been formed through this adultery. Give me the strength to resist temptation and to make a complete break from this sinful part of my life (1 Corinthians 6:18).

I surrender my pain, anger, and bitterness to you, Lord. Fill me with your peace and help me to trust in your faithfulness. Heal me from the wounds caused by adultery and restore my heart and my marriage (Psalm 147:3).

I pray for the restoration of trust and intimacy in my marriage. Help us to rebuild our relationship on a foundation of love, forgiveness, and faithfulness. Guide us in seeking counseling and support to aid in the healing process (Proverbs 15:22).

Lord, I thank you for your promise of healing and restoration. I trust in your power to bring beauty from ashes and to redeem what has been broken. May your grace and love abound in our lives as we seek healing from adultery (Isaiah 61:3).

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
