Heavenly Father, I come before you seeking forgiveness for my sins. Your Word teaches us that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Lord, I acknowledge that I have fallen short of your perfect standard and have sinned against you and others. I ask for your mercy and forgiveness, knowing that you are a God of compassion and grace (Psalm 51:1-2).
I repent of my sins and turn away from them, seeking to live a life that is pleasing to you. Help me to walk in obedience to your commands and to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who forgave even those who crucified Him (Luke 23:34).
I pray for the strength to forgive those who have wronged me, just as you have forgiven me. Teach me to love my enemies and to extend grace and mercy to others, as you have shown me (Matthew 6:14-15).
Lord, I ask for your healing and restoration in my relationships that have been affected by my actions. Help me to seek reconciliation and to make amends where necessary (Matthew 5:23-24).
I surrender my burdens of guilt and shame to you, knowing that you have promised to cast our sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19). Fill me with your peace and assurance of your forgiveness.
Thank you, Lord, for your abundant grace and forgiveness. May I walk in the freedom that comes from being forgiven and extend that same forgiveness to others.
