A Prayer Before Court

Gracious God, we come before you today, seeking your guidance and protection as we enter this courtroom. We acknowledge that all authority comes from you (Romans 13:1), and we place our trust in your sovereign hand.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved, that truth and justice may prevail. We ask for your peace to settle upon us, calming our anxieties and replacing fear with your unwavering presence.

We pray for the judge, that they may have a clear mind and a just heart, guided by your wisdom and righteousness. We pray for the attorneys, that they may present their cases with integrity and respect, seeking a fair and equitable outcome.

We ask for your protection over us, that we may be shielded from harm and injustice. We trust in your promises, knowing that you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray for the outcome of this case, that it may be in accordance with your will and for the greater good of all involved. We trust in your perfect plan, knowing that you work all things together for good for those who love you (Romans 8:28).

We offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the ultimate judge and the source of all justice. Amen.
