A Morning Prayer Of Thanksgiving

Morning Prayer of Thanksgiving with Bible References

“Heavenly Father, as I begin this new day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and I am grateful for the blessings You have bestowed upon me.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of life and for waking me up this morning. I am grateful for the breath in my lungs and the beating of my heart. Thank You for the health and strength that You have granted me, enabling me to carry out the tasks of this day.

I give thanks for the love and support of my family and friends. Thank You for the relationships that bring joy and encouragement into my life. Help me to cherish and nurture these connections, showing love and kindness to those around me.

Lord, I am thankful for the provisions You have given me. Thank You for the food on my table, the shelter over my head, and the clothes on my back. Help me to be a good steward of these resources and to use them to bless others in need.

I am grateful for Your guidance and wisdom. Thank You for the Holy Scriptures, which provide light and direction for my path (Psalm 119:105). Help me to meditate on Your Word and to apply its teachings to my life.

Lord, I give thanks for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Thank You for the forgiveness of my sins and the hope of eternal life. Help me to live in a way that honors You and reflects Your love to others.

As I go about my day, I pray that You would guide my thoughts, words, and actions. May everything I do be in accordance with Your will (Colossians 3:17). Grant me the strength and courage to face any challenges that may come my way.

In the name of Jesus, I offer this prayer of thanksgiving. Amen.”
